Materiality

Coeur conducts periodic materiality assessments to evaluate key sustainability and corporate responsibility-related issues that may have a potential impact on Coeur and are relevant to our stakeholders.

Performance Highlights

Climate Resilience

The Company achieved its greenhouse gas (GHG) net intensity emissions reduction goal of 35% compared to its base year by the end of 2024.

Health & Safety

Coeur maintained industry leadership in employee safety by focusing on leading indicators to reduce repeated exposure and long-term risk, contributing to Coeur ranking first among its peer group for employee TRIFR at U.S. mines according to MSHA data for the third year in a row.

Tailings Management

Coeur completed 73% of the outstanding tasks related to the implementation of the Global Industry Standard on Tailings Management (GISTM) across all sites.

Strong Governance

The Company refreshed its materiality assessment in 2024 to maintain alignment with evolving stakeholder priorities and reinforce robust governance.

Biodiversity Management Standard

The Company furthered the implementation of its Biodiversity Management Standard, including the completion of a nature-related risk assessment at its Kensington site, with plans to expand assessments to additional locations.

Employee Engagement

Coeur implemented targeted actions following its fourth company-wide culture survey in 2025, achieving a 92% participation rate that continues to guide targeted actions that translate employee feedback into meaningful improvements.
