Coeur d’Alene Mines Corporation is one of the world’s leading silver companies and also a significant gold producer. Coeur has a strong Latin American presence, having completed its first full year of production at the at its large silver mine - San Bartolomé in Bolivia – and will have its first full year of production in 2010 at its newest operation – the Palmarejo silver/gold mine in Mexico. These two new mines are increasing company-wide silver production by an expected 50% over 2008 levels and generate significant increases in 2009 cash flow. Coeur also owns and operates underground mines in southern Chile and Argentina and one surface mine in Nevada; and owns non-operating interest a low-cost mine in Australia.
